Jessica Teas
This blogger lets us in on her healthy favorites.
Fresh from covering the London beauty scene, writer Jessica Teas is back in The Windy City, bringing a touch of European chic to her new blog, Chicago Beauty Review. Her beautifying weekend plans:
-
Eat pho health.
"My husband and I go to Pho 777 regularly. You get a huge bowl of pho, which is a Vietnamese soup of vegetables, tofu, fish broth and all types of herbs, for just $7."

Wax on, wax off.
"The best Brazilian wax I've had in the US is actually in Chicago at Cleise. They use a Brazilian hard wax, which hurts way less than linen strips, and they get in there with tweezers to remove ingrown hairs."
Multiple locations -
Dance like no one is watching.
"I like Yoga Booty Ballet. It's hard at first because you're so self-conscious dancing in front of a mirror, but ten minutes later, you're having a great time and the next day, you're really sore!"

Spa and shop 'til you drop.
"Bluemercury has just the right amount of effective beauty brands (including some favorites like Skinceuticals, C E Ferulic and Caudalie Beauty Elixir Facial Spray) and they have a spa too, so you can shop and spa at the same time."
