  • South Pasadena Farmers' Market is a great spot for prepared treats.

    Go here tonight.

"I love South Pasadena Farmers' Market on Thursday evenings. There's a great mix of produce and prepared food. I pick up loads of stone fruit along with the best raisins."

  • Kenpo-jitsu is a satisfying challenge.

    Kick up her heels.

"I do kenpo-jitsu at Universal Core Karate Academy. It's a really great workout, and you are learning self defense which is mentally and physically empowering."

  • Chicken Bibimbap is a favorite at LA Korea.

    Try this dish.

"I'm obsessed with the chicken bibimbap and brown rice at LA Korea in the Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax. If I had to eat one thing for the rest of my life, this would be it."

  • Keene likes to hike in Arroyo Seco.

    Have a watershed moment.

"All the hikes in Arroyo Seco are amazing. You are so close to the city, but still feel smack dab in the middle of nature."
