10 Free Ways to Get Healthy in November

Free spinning, zenning, glue gunning and more.

  • Have a happy meal. Every Thursday at Whole Foods Bowery, you can stroll the aisles from 6PM to 8PM, sampling small bites.

  • Go dancing. Head to Brooklyn Museum this Saturday for Target First Saturdays, live music, art, movies and fun from 5PM - 11PM.

  • Zen out. This Sunday from 3PM - 7PM, escape with a gratis meditation lesson from Meditate NYC (you can come and go as you like), followed by a week of open houses.

  • Go for a spin. The side-to-side moving bikes at Ride the Zone give you a more intense workout. First-timers can try it out for free.

  • Go back to school. Yogis toying with the idea of teaching can stop by the Teacher Training Open House at the Integral Yoga Institute this Wednesday, November 18, 6:30PM - 7:30PM.

  • Get high. Research shows altruists live longer, happier lives, so consider taking time out from your holidays to help others with an organization like FeedingNYC.

  • Spice things up. At SOB's, señoritas can take salsa lessons on Fridays at 7PM followed by a night of dancing.
