An A+ Meal
What: Inspired by Top Chef, we dined on a four-course meal prepared by the graduating students from the Natural Gourmet Institute.
Where: Friday Night Dinner, 6:30PM, 48 W. 21st St., 2nd Fl., (212) 645-5170, MAP
Why: The $40 dinner passed with flying colors, plus it's BYOB! -
Out to lunch
What: Team Vital Juice, who calls midtown home, happened upon a healthy lunch spot that's doggone good: Blue Dog Cafe.
Where: 155 W. 56th St., (212) 459-2520, MAP
Why: Crisp salads, fresh sandwiches, and pressed juices are bow-wow! -
Dairy good news
What: Siggi's launched three delicious new flavors: vanilla, açai, and grapefruit.
Where: Multiple locations
Why: The Icelandic style yogurt is strained, so it contains more milk than regular yogurt and two to three times the protein. -
How Sweet It is
What: We satisfied our sweet tooth with perfectly portioned frosting shots for $1 from Tribeca Treats.
Where: 94 Reade St., (212) 571-0500, MAP
Why: Because the occasional indulgence helps prevent an all out bender.
