The best things come in pairs. Wine and cheese. Fresh air and the great outdoors. And now, Outdoor Bound's brand-new Hike & Organic Farm Tour adventure.
The plan: you'll spend a morning connecting with nature during a relaxing five-mile hike through woodsy trails in upstate New York. Then you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at sustainable farming at Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. (Yes, Stone Barns, as in the partner of one of our favorite farm-sourced restaurants.)
The inaugural event takes place on February 12, with a second trip planned later in the month. We talked to Outdoor Bound's owner, who said the tour is filling up quickly, so expect more trips planned soon.
