Breaking-breaking news:
You, too, can create your own perfume.
Scent expert Sue Phillips has kicked off the new trend with her Perfume Studio seminars. (Her next one is this weekend in Sag Harbor.)
Similar to a wine-tasting, the scent event is an aromatic journey where you'll sniff 18 carefully selected blends. Want to combine cedarwood with cardamom? Or jasmine with nutmeg? Go for it. Phillips designed the scents to be compatible with each other--so you can't end up with anything less than lovely.
At $130 per person, the starting price for a party isn't cheap, but includes an elegant
purse spray of your to-be-named creation.
High-end purse sprays typically cost around $90, so consider your private brand Chanel-caliber.
Jennifer Aniston, watch out.
To host your own perfume party or give it as a gift (great for brides-to-be), contact Sue for details.
