MySkin

This website predicts if a new cream, cleanser or treatment will work for you.

You asked your BFF. You got advice from total strangers. Heck, you even let your mom submit a few suggestions. But in the end, your quest for the perfect skincare routine has come up short.

Turns out you were talking to the wrong people.

Meet mySkin, a site developed by a team of more than 50 doctors and scientists. The beauty database gathers product reviews from folks with similar skin concerns. The result? You can zero in on products that are perfect for your skin type. Just fill out a fast questionnaire and you'll see a list of the sunscreens, moisturizers, body washes and treatments adored by people with skin that behaves similarly to yours. You can exclude products with ingredients you don't want (like parabens) or sort by chacteristics that make you melt (eco-friendly packaging, for example). There's even a forum where you can ask skincare pros all your embarrassing questions.

The site is so new that it's still in exclusive invite-only mode, but you can log on with the special code "vitaljuice" until August 20th. And because mySkin refuses beauty advertising, you won't feel pressured to buy certain brands.

It's a match made in e-heaven. Check it out here.
