Celebrate 150 years of spa days at Glen Ivy Hot Springs.

During the late 19th century, admission to the mineral baths at Glen Ivy Hot Springs (a 58-mile drive from LA) cost just a quarter. Today, guests pay up to $52 to luxuriate in the spa's pools, saunas, therapeutic mud and natural mineral baths.

Of course, it's not every year a spa turns 150, so Glen Ivy is celebrating with these special deals until December 24. Book any 50-minute treatment and pay as little as $18.50 for full access to the spa grounds. It's not a quarter, but still...

We spoke to a few LA-based Glen Ivy regulars who also recommend taking a trip to The Grotto (an extra $20 to $25). The experience includes a moisturizing aloe vera body treatment plus a cool mist chamber all in a cave-like setting.

Some things never get old.
